Cecil T. Gurganus - Norwood, North Carolina

He was a retired Tech Sergeant in the United States Air Force.

Joey was a very loved man. He was the strongest man any of his children knew. He was also strong for his country, spending 20 years in the United States Air Force.

Joey grew up in Roper, North Carolina where he loved farming. He also did construction work after he retired from the military. His family all loved him very much. He was an amazing man. He was a very kind, loving, caring, and great Dad. His family all loved going camping, making campfires, fishing, water skiing, and most of all going to the beach. He was a Ford man like the rest of the family.

Joey only had one grandson from his eldest daughter, Olivia, named Austin, and he loved his
Pa Pa very much.
